Estimating maintenance effectiveness of a repairable system under time-based preventive maintenance

Corrective maintenance (CM) is carried out to correct failures while preventive (PM) avert failure. They both play an important role in asset management. Accurately estimating the effectiveness of PM needed as it has impact on system health Given failure times and related data, possible estimate maintenance. This paper proposes CM models based different combinations type out, estimates parameters those models, simulates their intensities then studies using data industrial equipment.
